Eye once boasted about 20 public houses, but that was back in the day. Now only one remains but fortunately it’s a fabulous, authentic, traditional pub – it’s got mediaeval beams, open fires, real ales from the cask, brilliant food and a fantastic garden – and it’s right in the heart of the town.
Come and find out about Leigh’s winning combination of traditional pub food and the daily Specials Board, our Cask Marque quality real ales, excellent wines and great warm welcome. We’ve got a lovely garden with covered spacious tables and dogs are welcome too.
Historic Eye attracts visitors to the beautiful church, the ancient Guildhall, the Castle, the famous crinkle crankle wall and the pretty houses and cottages in the town centre. Not to mention the excellent range of shops, galleries and of course the best pub in town!
Although we have three traditional bars - the beamed Main Bar with Cask Ales, the family-friendly Cross Street Bar, and the cosy, mirrored 'Ego Room', currently all drinks and food are served in our safe outside space.
There's plenty of distance between tables and a marquee ensures you'll stay dry. Come and see for yourself how we're taking the safety of our customers and staff very seriously.
Come and visit our safe outside space for great meals cooked at LOUIS JOES BAR & GRILL. Featuring fabulous ribs, burgers and alfresco dining.
